The Central Oklahoma Transportation & Parking Authority (COTPA) operates, maintains and manages approximately 1,500 meters in Downtown Oklahoma City. The meters are a combination of electronic and mechanical meters and there are both one and two hour meter zones.
Meter Rates:
Rates vary by meter. See rate posted on individual meters.

Individuals with a valid handicapped placard or a handicapped vehicular license plate may park at any downtown meter for free but can only park there for the posted time limit.
Operating Hours:
The meters are in effect and enforced from 8 am until 6 pm, Monday through Saturday with the exception of the following holidays:

- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- The Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Coins Accepted:
The meters accept Quarters, Dimes and Nickels and will register the appropriate proportion of time on the meter.
Parking Meter Malfunction:
If a parking meter malfunctions, please report it here or call 297-1331 and advise them of the problem. Please be prepared to give the meter number and location so the meter can be checked.
Parking Tickets:
Parking Tickets are issued by the Oklahoma City Police Department. Read the Instructions on the back of the ticket about options for payment and appeal. If you receive a ticket at a malfunctioning meter, please report it here or call 297-2326 prior to your arraignment date.
Fines for Parking Tickets:
Parking tickets are $15 if paid before your arraignment and $34 if paid after your arraignment date.
Paying Parking Tickets:
Citations and applicable fines may be paid by mail with check, by credit card (Visa, MC, Discover); or by phone at (405) 297-2326 (TTY 405-297-1710).
To pay in person, visit the public counter of the Oklahoma City Municipal Court Office at 700 Couch Drive. This office is open 7 am - 7 pm daily.
