The Central Oklahoma Transportation & Parking Authority (COTPA) operates, maintains and manages approximately 1,500 meters in Downtown Oklahoma City. The meters are a combination of electronic and mechanical meters and there are both one and two hour meter zones.
 

Meter Rates:

The meters require $1 for 60 minutes or ¢25 cents for 15 minutes.

Operating Hours:

The meters are in effect and Enforced from 8 am until 6 pm, Monday through Saturday.

Coins Accepted:

The meters accept Quarters, Dimes and Nickels and will register the appropriate proportion of time on the meter.

 

Parking Meter Malfunction:

If a parking meter malfunctions, please report it here or call 297-1331 and advise them of the problem. Please be prepared to give the meter number to determine the location so the meter can be checked. I

 

Parking Tickets:

Parking Tickets are issued by the Oklahoma City Police Department. Read the Instructions on the back of the ticket about options for payment and appeal.f you receive a ticket at a malfunctioning meter, please immediately report it here or call 297-2326 office as well.

 

Fines for Parking Tickets:

Parking tickets are $10 if paid before 10 days of issue date and $26 if paid after 10 days from issue date.

 

Paying Parking Tickets:

Citations and applicable fines may be paid by mail with check, by credit card (Visa, MC, Discover); by phone at (405) 297-2326 (TTY 405-297-1710).

  To pay in person, visit the public counter of the Oklahoma City Municipal Court Office at 700 Couch Drive. This office is open 7 am - Midnight daily.
